Privacy policy

Who we are

Trim Tab Consulting is a leadership and talent development practice run by Jana, based in Portland, Oregon. In this policy, "we" means Trim Tab Consulting and "you" means anyone who visits trimtableaders.com.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us:

• When you email us. Your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message.
• When you book an intro call. Booking runs through Calendly. Calendly collects your name, email, and any answers you add, and shares them with us so we can prepare for the call.

We don't use analytics or advertising trackers, and we don't build profiles of visitors.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to you, to schedule and prepare for calls, and to do the work you hire us for. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for marketing.

Services we use

A few trusted services help run this site. Each one handles data under its own privacy policy:

• Calendly for booking intro calls. Its calendar appears on our booking page.
• Netlify to host the site. Like most hosts, it keeps short-lived server logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and running.
• Google Fonts to show the site's typeface. Your browser asks Google's servers for the font files, which shares your IP address with Google.
• Google Workspace for email.

Cookies

This site doesn't set its own tracking cookies. It stores one small note in your browser for the length of your visit, so the opening animation plays only once. It contains no personal information and disappears when you close the tab.

The booking page shows Calendly's calendar inside our site. Calendly may set its own cookies there to make booking work, under Calendly's privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep emails and booking details for as long as we're in touch or working together, and as long as the law requires for business records. After that, we delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, including California and the European Union, you may have additional rights under local privacy law, and we'll honor them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
